AiM attended Counter Fraud 2019

AiM attended the 2019 Counter-Fraud show at the QEII Centre London on the 13th February. It was our first time at this particular show, and as exhibitors with a multi-disciplinary tool, we were excited by the possible range of questions we might encounter from local government and other public sector organisations. The day got off to the best of starts, with a delicious breakfast, and ‘eye-opening’ coffee, soon followed by a deluge of eager delegates. It was refreshing to meet so many knowledgeable attendees, with such a range of experience and queries.

DataBelt® with capabilities spanning fraud, data transformation and the GDPR, was an early hit, the AiM team spent the time prior to the introductory address and first break-out sessions fielding a large number of questions on all our capabilities, with specific focus on fraud (of course) and the GDPR. All in all it was a tremendously successful show for us in terms of interest shown and confirming our understanding of government requirements.

What became clear from the majority of our discussions was not just the need for solutions, but the assistance in understanding the problems. In a high pressure environment, dealing with restricted resourcing and tight budgets, local government has much to gain from partnerships with experienced suppliers who have seen similar issues and have proven solutions to those problems.
